We developed the Torchmate 3 in response to requests from a number of businesses for a complete, finished machine that could be assembled and put to work in three to four hours.  It has  features suggested by a number of suppliers of large $100,000 machines, whom we consulted.  Priced at $6,995 for the 4' x 8' kit and $9,995 for the bolt-together finished machine, it includes totally different electronics than our other machines.

 

 

The Torchmate 2 was designed for continuous plasma or oxy-fuel use in industrial settings.  It uses precision linear motion components for the Y (short) axis, and its electronics are fully equipped for 3 axes.  Add our optional Z axis column and a router or drill to produce shapes or holes in wood, plastic, laminate, soft metals, etc.  You fabricate the rail system from about $400 worth of locally purchased steel (exact cost varies with your location).  Kit completion time averages approximately 16 hours.  A complete system can be put together for under $7,000 using your plasma cutter and PC.

 

The 2 axis Torchmate 1, is intended for intermittent use by small shops owners and others on a budget.  This unit starts at $3,594.00 for a complete system less plasma cutter and PC.  The kit requires about $450 worth of steel, which you purchase locally to save shipping costs.  Completion time is approximately 40 hours.
